High Tea at BMG – Year 11 VET Hospitality @ Maddingley - BMG Cafe

The Year 11 VET Hospitality students are hosting a series of High Teas on nominated Wednesdays and Fridays in the coming weeks. Students and staff wish to invite the BMG and wider community to experience the service provided by the Year 11s as part of their VET program assessments.

Bookings and payments are to be made online via Try booking. Bookings will open Friday 1 March and are strictly limited to 30 people per High Tea.

All funds raised will support a nominated charity. Ticket pricing includes a variety of hot beverages and finger food.
*A thirty-cent booking service fee will apply to each ticket.

Tickets: Adult/Concession – $10.00 Child 2-5 years – $5.00
(Children under 2 years – no charge – Limited highchairs available)

Wednesday 20 March @ 10.00 to 11.00am:  Rainbow theme
Friday 22 March @ 2.00pm to 3.00pm: Tropical theme
Wednesday 27 March @ 10.00 to 11.00am: Mad Hatter Tea Party
Friday 29 March @ 2.00pm to 3.00pm: French theme

Please note:

  • Due to the size of the venue and safety, we would like to advise pram access is not available.
  • Please specify any dietary requirements when making your booking.
  • Photos will be taken at this event and utilised for school publications (i.e. Year Book, newsletter) and on
    select occasions used for website content and social media.

 

Maddingley – Year 5-8 Parent Teacher Interviews (Two dates) @ Maddingley - Terraces Building (W Block), R Block and Wilson Hall

Note for classes 5A & 5B: Interviews can only be booked for 27 March as they are on camp 19 March.

 

Booking an appointment with your child’s teachers – Round one

Online bookings will open on Monday 4 March at 6:00pm. Parents will be able to book appointments with your child’s particular class teachers and Tutor Teachers as shown below.

  • Year 5 & 6 Parents will be able to book interviews for English and Mathematics only.
  • Year 7 & 8 Parents will be able to book interviews for all subjects.

 

Booking an appointment with your child’s teachers – Round Two

Online bookings will open on Tuesday 12 March at 6:00pm. Parents will be able to book appointments with your all of your child’s class teachers and Tutor Teachers.

 

Once you have booked your appointment/s, your times are automatically confirmed. Please refer to your print out for relevant interview rooms.

Maddingley – Middle School (Year 5 to 8) House Athletics Carnival @ VUT Athletics Track, Werribee

Middle School Athletics Program

It is a compulsory event for all Year 5 to 8 students to attend.

After rolls are marked, all students will assemble at the school gymnasium by 9am and then they will be allocated and transported to the venue by bus.

The carnival will commence at 10.15am. Students will return to school unless notice has been given to dismiss student from the venue. A parent signature is required for signing out.

All students are required to wear full school sports/house uniform to school. House colours and appropriate House spirit items are encouraged, but must be changed into at the venue.

Please be aware of the weather on the day and make sure that your child is adequately prepared by bringing along appropriate weather apparel, such as a waterproof jacket, sunscreen, hat and a water bottle.

Maddingley – Year 3 & 4 House Athletics Carnival @ Maddingley Campus

Students are expected to wear sports uniform, including school hat, with sunscreen recommended to be applied before coming to school. As this will be a very active day for your child(ren), please pack extra healthy food and a refillable drink bottle.

Senior School (Year 9 to 12) Tornelo Chess Competition @ Ballarat Clarendon College

The competition begins at 9.15am and finishes at 2.00pm. Students will be transported to the venue by bus, which will leave Bacchus Marsh Grammar at 8am and will return at approximately 3pm. Students need to make their own way to school by 8am in order for a timely departure. Students will return to school in time to make their usual way home.

Students must be in full school uniform. They are also to provide their own morning tea and lunch.
