Enrichment

Enrichment is a critical part of our whole-school Character Sought Program at Bacchus Marsh Grammar.

Enrichment at Bacchus Marsh Grammar provides students with an intentional, planned, and organised opportunity to flourish within their community. Enabling all students to practice and espouse the school values of; Kindness, Ambition, Leadership, Respect, Discipline, Respect, Confidence, Wisdom and Knowledge.

Enrichment is built into the curricular and co-curricular program so that students can have a “rich diet” of activities enabling valuable opportunities for character to be caught and sought at Bacchus Marsh Grammar.

The enrichment program offers a mix of compulsory and elective opportunities and students are provided with guidance and support in their selection of activities. Not all opportunities and activities are “easy”, and we fully encourage students to move beyond their comfort zones in a space that is safe, challenging and enriching where character is truly created. Enrichment opportunities include:

  • The Duke of Edinburgh Award
  • The Compass Award
  • Camps Program
  • School Sport (House and Interschool)
  • Clubs Program e.g., Chess, Writing, Art etc.
  • Equestrian Team
  • Music groups, choirs, and ensembles
  • Middle School Enrichment Curriculum
  • Leadership and Character Development

The Bacchus Marsh Grammar Enrichment program gives our students the opportunity to explore their passions and develop as well rounded citizens with great character.
