STEM Night 2026
STEM Night 2026 brought together students, families, staff and community members for an evening of innovation, creativity and discovery. Reflecting this year’s theme, “Seeds of Science, Nurturing Knowledge for All,” the event celebrated the growth of STEM learning at Bacchus Marsh Grammar through a range of interactive displays, hands-on activities and engaging experiences.
A key feature of the evening was the STEM Showcase, where students presented their work across several competition categories, including Junior School STEM Storybooks, Garden Designs, pH Meter Designs, Growing Seedlings, Fashion Design, Hackathon, and Games Development. These projects highlighted our students’ creativity, problem-solving skills and ability to apply STEM knowledge to real-world challenges.
Visitors enjoyed a variety of activities throughout the evening, including science experiments, an explosive chemistry show, virtual reality challenges, the immersive ArtVo experience, and a mystery-solving room that encouraged teamwork and critical thinking. Attendees also explored displays showcasing the innovative programs and environmental learning opportunities available at the Staughton Vale Campus.
A highlight of the event was the community art project where attendees signed and decorated sunflower petals that will be combined to create a large collaborative sunflower artwork. This project symbolised the growth, connection and collective spirit of our school community.
STEM Night 2026 was a fantastic celebration of student achievement and the many opportunities STEM provides for creativity, innovation and future learning. We thank all students, staff, families and community members whose participation and support contributed to the success of the evening.
