Astronomy

Dr Karl Wild, one of Bacchus Marsh Grammar’s senior VCE Physics teachers, has been working on some astrophotography to support the school’s astronomy elective. This science elective aims to provide students with hands-on experience in astronomy, enhancing their understanding of celestial objects and phenomena. This knowledge will support students in their future studies in VCE Physics.
The following images were captured by Dr Wild:
• The Moon
• Orion’s Nebula
• A Star Cluster
These images serve as practical examples for students to study and analyse, complementing their theoretical knowledge.
