Maddingley in Concert 2025 – A Celebration of Music, Culture and Creativity
On Monday 8 September 2025, Bacchus Marsh Grammar presented Maddingley in Concert at the Clocktower Theatre, Moonee Ponds. This annual event brought together Middle and Senior School students in a professional setting, celebrating their talent and dedication across a diverse range of performances.
This year’s concert featured a rich and varied program of 24 items that reflected the breadth and creativity of BMG’s Performing Arts. Audiences enjoyed two musical theatre pieces from the recent school production of Chicago, outstanding VCE/VET Music Industry (Performance) Units 1–4 presentations, energetic performances from the Year 8 and Year 9 Rock Bands, and accomplished playing from the Senior Strings and Guitar Ensembles. The Middle School and Senior School Choirs provided powerful choral textures, while a vibrant Indian dance item highlighted the cultural diversity of our community. Together, these performances created a seamless and inspiring evening that showcased the skill and commitment of every student involved.
Congratulations to all performers for their artistry and effort, and sincere thanks to the Performing Arts staff, instrumental tutors, accompanists and families for their invaluable support. The combined dedication of everyone involved created an evening that truly reflected the strength and creativity of Performing Arts at Bacchus Marsh Grammar.
Maddingley in Concert continues to embody BMG’s commitment to excellence in music, dance and drama. We look forward to 2026, when our students will once again share their talents and passion on a professional stage.
