Creativity, Exploration and Innovation: Turning recycled materials into Musical Possibilities.

Year 3 students at the Woodlea Campus have been putting their creativity and musical thinking to the test as they explored, designed and constructed their own musical instruments using recycled materials. They investigated how various materials of different sizes, shapes and lengths can change the sound an instrument produces, discovering that music can be created in wonderfully unexpected ways. Their recycled instruments are a fantastic example of how creativity, sustainability and musical exploration can come together to create endless musical possibilities.

The students will now work in groups to compose and perform an original song using their unique recycled instruments, putting their creativity and collaborative musical thinking into action.
