BMG’s annual Story Writing competition has begun!

Yr 2-8 Story Writing Competition Rules 2025

1. All stories must include the author’s name and Tutor Group
2. The author must be a student of Bacchus Marsh Grammar in Years 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8
3. Prizes will be awarded to winners at each year level
4. All stories must include the story prompt
5. All stories must be authentic and not copied from another source
6. All stories must be submitted on paper. No electronic entries will be accepted.
7. Do not submit booklets or exercise books
8. Pictures should not be included unless they contribute to the story
9. For stories longer than one page – number every page
10. Entries must be handed to Reception or the library by 4pm Monday 28th July 2025
11. No late entries will be accepted
12. The judges’ decision is final. No further correspondence will be entered into.
