New School Year
As we begin the 2026 school year, it has been wonderful to see our Junior School students return with big smiles, presented neatly in their summer uniforms and an enthusiasm ready to learn. We would like to extend a warm welcome to all families, including those returning and those joining our school community.
The beginning of the school year brings many positives. Students are settling well into new classroom routines, creating new friendships, developing independence and engaging confidently in the classroom with their teachers and peers. Our youngest learners have shown great confidence and curiosity as they begin their learning journey at Bacchus Marsh Grammar.
This year, we maintain a strong focus on all areas of the curriculum ensuring students experience rich opportunities across all subject areas.
Please refer to Schoolbox Family Engagement pages for your child’s year level. These pages contain the most current information about learning and upcoming events. It is updated regularly and provides an overview of the weekly learning focus across all classroom-based curriculum areas. You will also find additional learning materials and resources to support your child, along with specialist curriculum information under the relevant subject tiles.
Another exciting moment was the commencement of our new structured enrichment program; activities have been designed to complement and extend students classroom learning. These activities form an important element of the school’s mission to develop our virtues, values and character education, supporting our students to think critically, work collaboratively and approach challenges with confidence and persistence. We look forward to sharing more updates with our school community throughout the term via Schoolbox.
Positive partnerships between home and school play an important role in supporting student success. If parents or guardians need to contact teachers, communication can occur through the student school diary, via email or by arranging a suitable meeting time.
We look forward to supporting every student to engage positively with their learning, build respectful relationships and develop confidence in themselves as capable learners. Thank you for your continued support of our Junior School as we look ahead to a calm, productive, fun and engaging year.
