The completion of Semester One examinations and the GAT, together with the commencement of Semester Two classes, has made for a fittingly busy conclusion to what has been another successful semester at Bacchus Marsh Grammar.
It has been particularly pleasing to see our students continue to demonstrate resilience, curiosity and a willingness to challenge themselves both inside and outside the classroom. Whether participating in learning experiences, representing the school in sport, performing on stage, engaging in service activities or simply supporting one another each day, our students continue to exemplify the values that underpin our school community.
We were delighted to cap off the term by securing the ICCES Winter Tour Cup, an outstanding achievement that reflects the talent, determination and sportsmanship of our students across the competition. Congratulations to all students who represented Bacchus Marsh Grammar with pride throughout the tournament, and my sincere thanks to our coaches and staff whose dedication, encouragement and countless hours of preparation made this success possible.
Across both campuses, our investment in future learning environments continues at an exciting pace. At Maddingley, the new Richardson Senior Science Building is progressing exceptionally well and is rapidly becoming a landmark within the campus. Similarly at Woodlea, construction of the Senior School Centre continues to make significant progress. This important development represents another major milestone in the evolution of the Woodlea Campus and will provide exceptional facilities for our growing Senior Student community. Together, these projects demonstrate our long-term commitment to ensuring our students learn in environments that inspire excellence, innovation and collaboration.
As we turn our attention to Term 3, our Year 12 students enter their final term of formal coursework before commencing their preparation for the VCE written examinations. We wish them every success as they approach this important stage of their schooling and encourage them to make the most of the support available from their teachers.
I would also like to acknowledge the outstanding dedication of our staff. Their professionalism, care and commitment to providing the very best educational experience for every student is evident each day. The positive relationships they build with students and families remain one of the defining strengths of Bacchus Marsh Grammar.
As the term draws to a close, I encourage everyone to take the opportunity to enjoy a well-earned break with family and friends. School holidays provide an important time to rest, recharge and reflect before we return for another exciting term of learning and growth.
Thank you for your continued support of Bacchus Marsh Grammar throughout the term. I wish all members of our School community a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday break, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back for the commencement of Term 3.
