It is hard to believe the end of Term 1 is just around the corner. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the remarkable efforts and achievements of our students both in and out of the classroom.

I want to particularly congratulate our students for their focus, resilience and determination during the recent NAPLAN assessments. These national tests can present as a nervous time for our students, however, their approach was calm and positive. The test help to provide valuable insights into student progress in literacy and numeracy, and I am extremely proud of the way our students approached this challenge. Their preparation and positive attitude reflect not only their hard work, but also the support and dedication of our teaching staff and families.

It was lovely attending the Maddingley Middle School House Athletics on Wednesday. Competition was fierce and the House spirit across all year levels was fantastic. A year now into our new House system, and there is a real sense of pride. Students are enthusiastic and keen to participate. I look forward to seeing the overall campus results for Athletics next term.

I wish all our BMG community a safe and restful term break.
