Casual Receptionist

Bacchus Marsh Grammar is seeking a professional, friendly and organised Receptionist to join our Administration team. As the first point of contact for parents, students, visitors and contractors, you will provide exceptional customer service while supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the School.

Position

  • Welcome and assist students, staff, parents and visitors.
  • Manage enquiries in person, by phone and email.
  • Maintain confidentiality and build positive relationships across the school community.
  • Provide efficient administrative and clerical support to the office team.
  • Assist with general office procedures and administrative tasks.

This role requires flexibility to work across both the Maddingley and Woodlea Campuses as required. Shifts may be rostered between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with hours varying according to operational needs. We are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements and will consider the successful applicant's availability when determining rostered hours, where operational requirements allow.

About You
You will have:

  • Experience in a receptionist and/or administrative role (school experience desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and provide outstanding customer service.

Essential Requirements

  • Certificate in Office Administration or Administration (or equivalent).
  • Employee Working with Children Check.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • National Police Check.
  • Current driver's licence.
