Position

Join the Languages faculty at the Maddingley Campus in a full-time, ongoing role commencing in Term 3, 2026. You will teach French across Years 5-10, with the opportunity to extend into VCE for the right candidate. This is an opportunity to contribute to a supportive and well-resourced school community while helping students build confidence, curiosity, and a cultural understanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality French lessons across Years 5-10 aligned to curriculum standards;
  • Design engaging and inclusive learning experiences for a range of student abilities;
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress and achievement;
  • Foster student’s interest in French language and culture;
  • Contribute to faculty planning and the broader school community.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Appropriate teaching qualifications in French;
  • Current VIT registration, or eligibility to obtain registration prior to commencement;
  • Demonstrated capacity to teach French across Years 5–10.
  • VCE teaching capability highly regarded;
  • Commitment to child safety and inclusive classroom practice.
