Position

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team as casual Exam Supervisors at our Maddingley and Woodlea campuses, commencing June 2026.

As a casual Exam Supervisor, you will work closely with the Senior School team to support a calm, supportive and compliant examination environment that allows students to perform at their best.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all examination procedures are followed in accordance with school and VCAA guidelines
  • Supervising students during examinations and breaks
  • Providing support to students before and during examinations

Exam Supervisors must be available for casual shifts and training during the following periods:

  • Exam Supervisor training on Tuesday 9 June 2026
  • VCAA General Achievement Test (GAT) on Tuesday 16 June 2026
  • Further casual shifts may be available during the examination period in October and November 2026.

 Key selection criteria:

  • Current Working with Children Check (Employee card) or VIT registration (essential)
  • Detail oriented with the ability to follow and enforce procedures accurately
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Calm and approachable with the ability to support students and other staff

Please note:
Examinations are governed by VCAA under strict regulations. Therefore, you cannot supervise Bacchus Marsh Grammar exams if you are:

  • Related to, associated with or tutoring any student required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2026 at BMG.
  • Teaching any student required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2026 at any school.
  • Related to or associated with any person engaged in teaching, tutoring or coaching students required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2026, or any school personnel involved in organising or checking VCE external assessment materials at BMG.
  • Employed at BMG as a teacher (excluding CRT) or member of the administration staff.
