Mid Term Break
No Private, Public or Country Buses will be operating Monday 2 November 2026 due to the Mid Term Break.
Students sitting an exam on this day will be required to make their own way to and from school.
Term 4 Late Bus
The late bus will be available in Term 4 for students Years 5 to 12. Students travelling via the late bus must be enrolled in an after-school activity.
Maddingley: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from Tuesday 6 October to Thursday 10 December 2026.
Woodlea: Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from Wednesday 7 October to Thursday 3 December 2026.
- Students are required to sign themselves up for the relevant late bus by adding their name under the stop where they will disembark. Sign-up must be completed before 1.30pm on the day of travel.
- Students who have not signed up by 1.30pm will not be permitted to travel on the late bus. Parents will be contacted and asked to collect their child from school at 4.20pm. Students are still expected to attend their scheduled after-school class or activity.
- Any student presenting at the bus quay after their after-school activity without being allocated to the late bus will not be permitted to board. The student will be taken to Main Reception, and parents will be contacted for collection.
- Late bus sign-up sheets are located in Main Reception.
- The late bus fee is $15.00 per child, per trip, and will be charged to family school fee accounts at the end of each term.
Allocated Roll Call Stops
If you have changed your child/ren’s stop that they board or disembark as a permanent change and have not notified the school, please contact the School Bus Services Administrator on 5366 4800 or email bus@bmg.vic.edu.au.
This information needs to be up to date on Roll Call for emergency services and will assist in the planning for 2027 routes/timetables.
Private Bus Travel 2027
All current students from 2026 private bus travel have been rolled over to their current stop to 2027 private bus travel.
If your child/ren’s current bus travel arrangements are going to change or require to be changed (e.g. moving house or will not require private bus travel) for 2027, please contact the School Bus Services Administrator on 5366 4800 or email bus@bmg.vic.edu.au to discuss as a matter of priority.
If your child/ren will not require a private bus service in 2027 and parents do not advise us, your child/ren will be allocated to private bus and fees will apply.
Maddingley
Country Bus Travel 2027
Applications for Permission to Travel forms have been sent to families via Edsmart notification to parents for children who are eligible to travel on a Country bus to Bacchus Marsh Grammar Maddingley Campus in 2027.
Application forms were due back by Friday 11 September 2026.
If you have not returned your form, please do so ASAP. Please note that failure to submit this form to the office by the due date may result in your child/ren not being eligible to travel on a Government Operated Bus Service in 2027.
