Concussion Policy and Procedures

If your child sustains a concussion, whether it occurs during school activities, sports or outside of school hours, it is essential that the School is informed as soon as possible. Prompt notification ensures that the School can provide the necessary support and adjustments for your child’s safe recovery and return to learning activities and sport.

How to Notify the School:

• Parent Portal in Schoolbox: Parents and guardians can update their child’s health information by navigating to the Medical Conditions tab.
• Direct Contact: Alternatively, you may contact the School Administration or the Health Centre directly via phone or email to report the concussion and discuss any specific care requirements.

The School’s Concussion Policy and Procedure is available to view from the School Policies tile in Schoolbox.

Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) – The Y Ballarat

The Y Ballarat operates the Out of School Hours Care at Bacchus Marsh Grammar.  Enrolments are completed online. For full information please visit the School’s website.
