FROM THE PRINCIPAL

At Bacchus Marsh Grammar, our commitment to Character Education reminds us that education is about more than academic results. Our core values help shape the way our students approach their learning, respond to challenges and strive to become the best version of themselves.
Our recent NAPLAN results provide a wonderful example of the values of ambition and wisdom in action. As a School, we are extremely proud of the results achieved by our students across both campuses. They reflect the commitment of our students to doing their best, the expertise and dedication of our teaching staff, and the support provided by families.
NAPLAN is, of course, only one measure of student learning. However, these results provide us with valuable information about student progress and help inform our ongoing work to continually strengthen teaching and learning across the School.
Individual NAPLAN reports have now been distributed to families, and I encourage parents to take the opportunity to recognise and celebrate their child’s efforts and progress.
Finally, with the long weekend ahead, I hope our students, staff and families enjoy the opportunity for a well-earned break and some time with family and friends. I look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed for the remainder of the term.
