An EdSmart Slip will be emailed to parents/guardians advising them of the re- enrolment process by the end of Term 3 for the following year. If a parent/guardian wishes to discontinue lessons and/or instrument hire they must complete the EdSmart Slip response no later than the specified deadline. BMG Music Program New Enrolment Confirmation This information relates to new enrolments only . All New Enrolments who are offered a place in the Instrumental Music Programwill receive an Instrumental Music Offer email via EdSmart. To secure or decline your child’s position in the Instrumental Program parents/guardians are required to complete the EdSmart form no later than the specified deadline. If an ‘accept’ response has not been received by this date, the Instrumental Program offer will automatically be withdrawn. Withdrawal of Student from Instrumental Music Program Parents/guardians who withdraw a student from the Instrumental Program after the re-enrolment process has closed or after having confirmed a position in the Music Program will still be liable and charged for one semester of Music Tuition fees. Written applications for fees to be waived in extenuating circumstances will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and will require a full term’s notice. Requests for withdrawals must be emailed to music@bmg.vic.edu.au . AMEB Music Examinations Instrumental music students have the opportunity to participate in the AMEB Music Examinations. Parents/guardians will receive a separate invoice formally advising them of the specific payment requirements for each Examination. 5.7.6 User Pays Activities School Trips and School Function & Events Parents/guardians with students who are attending an authorised School trip or School function will be required to make full payment in advance of the event. School fee accounts are also required to be up to date prior to the commencement of the trip. Non-payment will result in the student being excluded from the activity. [Refer to Conditions of Enrolment]. Parents/guardians will be formally advised of the specific requirements for each activity or event. Confirmation of attendance (if required) and/or payment of deposits will be made through the myBMG Parent Portal or the School’s TryBooking website. Once confirmed, parents/guardians will receive an invoice formally advising them of the specific payment requirements for each activity or event as a part of the formal notification. Payments for these activities will need to be made in accordance with the instructions specified on the invoice or through the School’s TryBooking website if relevant.
