10 NEPAL EXPEDITION 2019 Bacchus Marsh Grammar prides itself on the outstanding range of opportunities it provides students to complement its comprehensive academic program. Activities such as Year Level camps, Staughton Vale experiences, overseas trips and the Duke of Edinburgh Award enable students to step outside their comfort zones and develop important lifelong qualities such as resilience and self-reliance, while learning more about themselves, their peers and the world in which they live. This year, BMG partnered with World Challenge to offer Year 9 and 10 students the opportunity to participate in a student-led trekking adventure to Nepal. This trip involved students being responsible for booking all transport, accommodation, restaurants and staying within budget. The students supported each other to successfully meet the challenges of the expedition and returned with increased confidence in themselves and their abilities. Mr Leigh Park
