This event will provide Year 12 VCE/VET Music students and accompanists with an opportunity to present their end-of-year examination programs in an industry setting, as well as providing students with invaluable criteria-specific feedback from both experienced adjudicators and professional musicians.

Event: Royal South Street Eisteddfod – ‘Mi Sound’
Venue: The Hop Temple, 24 Armstrong Street North, Ballarat
Time of departure: 2:00pm Maddingley Campus (at the bus turnaround)
Time of return: Estimated 7:15pm (at the bus turnaround)
Due to the nature of such competitions, the program times are only advertised as an estimate. As such, students may arrive back at school after 7:30pm.
With this in mind, if you wish for your child to be collected at the conclusion of the event, the nominated adult collecting them will need to be present in the foyer immediately following the performance/section to sign out your child with BMG staff before leaving the venue. Alternatively, parents/guardians can collect their child from school or utilise the late bus service as appropriate. Please complete the attached form to indicate your plans.
What to bring to the event:
- Students are required to wear their Full Winter School Uniform to begin the day.
- Students are to bring their own drink bottle
- Students are required to bring a change of casual dress clothes for the event and will change into performance attire prior to departure
The ‘Mi Sound’ event is open to the public and therefore we extend a warm welcome to parents, family and friends to attend to support your child. Tickets are ‘Free Admission’ on the day upon entry to the venue. Additional details can be found on the competition website: www.royalsouthstreet.com.au
