Private Bus Services

Bacchus Marsh Grammar– in conjunction with Christian’s Bus Company, Hollands and Firefly operate extensive private bus services across the outer western part of Melbourne. This network includes Aintree, Burnside, Cairnlea, Caroline Springs, Deer Park, Diggers Rest, Eynesbury, Hillside, Hoppers Crossing, Point Cook, Sunbury/Gisborne, Sydenham, Tarneit, Taylors Hill, Truganina, Watergardens, Werribee, and, Wyndham Vale areas.

Note: Students will be issued their Student Identification cards during the first week of Term 1. This is also the bus pass for your child which is used as part of the ‘touch on and off’ for the bus tracking system.

Code of Conduct (Private Bus Travellers)

All students who catch a private bus need to abide by the rules and requirements detailed in the Student Bus Travel Code of Conduct for private bus travellers.

Late Bus

Please refer to the Business Notice for fees related to the late bus.

Maddingley Campus 

This service is available from Monday to Thursday afternoons departing at 4.40pm, servicing Melton, Caroline Springs, Tarneit, Werribee and Manor Lakes. The late bus has been split into two routes for 2023.  Late Bus 1 covers Melton, Caroline Springs and Tarneit.  Late Bus 2 covers Manor Lakes, Werribee and Hoppers Crossing. This service is available for students in Year 4 to Year 12 who are involved in School Production or an after-school classes / activities. Services will commence from 6 February.

Woodlea Campus

This service is available only on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons departing at 4.40pm, servicing Caroline Springs, Williams Landing and Werribee. This service is available for students in Year 5 to Year 9 who are involved in School Production or an after-school classes / activities. The late bus for Woodlea campus will commence 20 February.

Public Bus Services

Public bus services operate across the outer western part of Melbourne and surrounding rural areas including Melton, Toolern Vale, Long Forest, Hopetoun Park, Exford, Eynesbury, Blackwood, Ballan, Merrimu, Glenmore and Balliang.

Permission to Travel

Public Transport Victoria requires all students who use a country public bus service to complete a ‘Permission to Travel’ application form. This must be submitted to the School before commencement of travel on the bus.

Train Services

V/Line services at Bacchus Marsh Station connect on the Ballarat Line.
