This program operates on each afternoon Monday to Friday from 3.15pm - 6.00pm. The program is run by Mrs Sharon Jones, the Program Coordinator and assisted by up to two Year 10,11 or Year 12 students who have a career interest in this field.
As part of the program students are given a healthy snack and drink on arrival. Students are then expected to complete homework where individual assistance is available where required. Students then participate in a variety of organised activities. These activities are designed to cater for the seasons in that Term 1 and Term 4 activities have a predominant outdoor focus.
The Active After School Sport Program operates on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. This program operates in conjunction with the Out of Hours Care/After School Program. Junior School students of all ages are eligible to access the program provided they are registered with the After School Care Program. The program operates for 8 weeks of each term throughout the school year. The fee to register with the After School Program for these nights will be a standard fee of $7.00 per student, per night. Parents may be eligible to claim a rebate for this fee. Please ask Mrs Sharon Jones for more information.
The Active After School Sports Program operates from 3.30pm –5.30pm. During this time the students are required to be actively engaged in activity for a minimum of one hour. Students may be collected from the After School Program in Wilson Hall any time from 5.30pm to 6.00pm.
