The Year 9 curriculum at Bacchus Marsh Grammar focuses on the development of skills and knowledge in the core Learning Areas of English, Science, Mathematics, Studies of Society & the Environment, Ethics & Values and Health & Physical Education. To provide breadth and access to other Learning Areas students select 2 electives per semester unless they wish to continue a language. In this case they choose French or Japanese and 1 elective per semester. Students may not repeat an elective.
Students also complete their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. This program takes place on the Year 9 camp and at other times throughout the school year.
